Can anyone who lowered their xB2 please read this
Hi
I was reading randy's DIY on lowering springs for the 1st gen xb
and it notes that when rebuilding the strut with with the new spring, that the upper rubber isolator has an arrow pointing to the outside,
does the 2nd gen xb have the same, cause we have a creak on one side only and have checked everthing a zillion times and this may be it.
I would apreicate it if someone knows.
thanks

Just a couple of things,
1 - How long has it been lowered?
2 - Did you check the points in which the strut meets the car? You might just have a little bit of metal rubbing.
3 - Did you install them with the correct torque amount?
I don't know if the new xB's have the same arrow, but it might not really make that much a difference even if it did. You might want to just take it out and look for yourself.
Wish I could help more.

there isnt that arrow.. and you dont have to take the plasic cowel for the wipers off.
took me about 1 hour to do with all air tools... you will need air gun for the strut brng nut..
the rear shock nut has lock tight on them so its very hard to break.. neeed a long breaker bar
