Default seekin some assistance my bumper needs your knowledge

hey i am wanting to get some vinyl and black out the center section of my bumper and was curious if anyone who has done this mod wouuld know the dimenssions of the area so i could go pick some vinyl from the body shop
this is what i am talking about

iirc i got one that was 3x2ft and it was more than enough, then you can just cut off the excess

your going ot have to do some cutting, heating, and stretching to make it fit. I'm not gunna lie, i found it to be pretty difficult, but then again i didnt heat it up nor have i ever really worked with vinyl before

thanks whip that is what i needed to know, i hope that i should be fne doing it if not my duddy owns a tint shop and im sure he would help me out for a beer or two.

I've been thinking about doing the same thing. My initial thoughts is getting the same vinyl that's used on the pillars would be ideal, but I haven't found a source. What I've found at the local tint shop looks much glossier and thicker (would probably be hard to get it to conform properly). If you find something good at your body shop, could you perhaps get some details on the brand and part number?

Thanks and I would love to see some pictures when you have it completed!

will do and as far as getting it to fit properly you would be suprised how plyable vinyl gets with a little heat gun help
