Default Has anybody lowered the rear only?

I'm curious if anybody has done this on the xb2. The rear sits alot higher than the front and I would like it to sit level. I don't want to lower the front along with the rear because if the front gets any lower I will start scraping parking space curbs, etc. Is this a good idea, or will it create handling problems?

I would be worried about different spring rates and different lengths that the shocks would be traveling...I don't think its a good idea

ive heard that switching the rear springs with first gen. xB springs will level it out nicely.

I did this for one day on Tanabe DFs, but only cause I didn't have access to an air gun to do the front. It did sit a little lower in the rear, but wouldn't suggest it on aftermarket springs.

I'd be interested in lowering the rear only as well. I think this with a rear sway bar would look good upgrade handling and not compromise front end clearance.

I'm dead set against mixing springs that weren't designed as a matched set for a specific vehicle, but if you refuse to get a matched set of lowering springs, maybe somebody will sell you their rear springs from a gen1 xB. Try asking coryjames since he's on Tanabe DF210's now. (See his post earlier in this thread.)
