They are not out yet, the website is wrong. Official release date is May, but they could be in as early as March.

 

No, I've checked on the underbrace and it is available. I'm looking into purchasing it. I'm not sure of how effective it will be.

wait for the 4 point that will help stiffen the front subframe... and should make a difference.

I called Tanabe directly...yesterday, and again today...where did you get your information?

How do you know they are making one? From their website, they don't have 2-points and 4-points available for the same car, just a 4 or a 2 (can differ front/rear).

Also, I just called and asked, they said they are only making the 2 point and will not be offering a rear brace.

 

Their website and a couple of vendors. Then again, vendors could be wrong. Or maybe the person you spoke to thought you meant the struttower brace?

I dunno. I'm not even sure of the improvements.

And if they make a 4point, I'm more likely to get that.

 

The website is wrong according to tanabe, and the vendors are probably just checking the web. I talked to 2 different people on 2 different days, going by the part number, and also had a vendor try to buy it, all with the same answer...not yet.

well you are right, after looking again on the their site I must have gotten mixed up with the XD...My Bad. ;(
But after looking at the pic they have on the page it looks like someone could easily make something in the shape of a weird W (replacing the braces connecting what looks to be the front subframe and the body frame itself). Im sure GT SPEC can come up with something they make braces for everything...Ill have to check and see.

If they have already posted that I won't interfere on their group buy.

 

There is no group buy, it was just the price he quoted me for one brace.
