Default Transmission/Output Shaft rear nut

Hey all,
Well, I'm up here in South Bend, IN helping fuzzbawl take the TRD LSD out of one car and put in his. Pulled the trans from the donor car yesterday, and when I got started on the trans, I ran into a problem - the rear nut on the output shaft that holds the 5th driven gear will NOT come off. Yes, the nut is unstaked, and I have 5th and another gear engaged to lock the trans in place. An impact wrench won't budge it, and neither will an 18" long breaker bar. I've never seen an output shaft nut this tight. Are these freakin' things reverse threaded, or was it just wenched down way too tight when the LSD was installed originally?

Dealership service department zipped it off with their impact. Continuing with the project today.

Had to have been - didn't see it close up, but it literally took 5 seconds for him to zip it off hahahaha
