Default my new resonator...something sounds weird...

Ok so I just got a second resonator put on to get rid of the rest of the rasp. I dont think its a high flow resonator or anything. The guy at the muffler shop grabbed it off his stock shelf. Now that its on my exhaust sounds like its TOO muffled. When I step on it...it seems like I am hearing a bunch of the gasses shoot out of the exhaust but a lot of the noise doesnt come with it. Now does this mean I just have tooi much resonator and it muffled my exhaust too much? is my backpressure too high or too low? anyone? thanks in advance!

maybe your exhaust is 2.5" straight through and the muffler guy may have put on a smaller diameter piping, thus really killing all the noise?

I think they may have thrown in a baffled resonator, or possibly just a muffler. Without knowing what they put in there is really no way to figure out how to fix it, assuming you want it louder. Call them and ask. I am sure there is some kind of record for inventory purposes. Or just get under it and look for any make/model markings.

they may have welded on a "shark-tooth" resonator, better known as a louvered resonator. they are the best for killing sound, but they can restrict exhaust flow quite a bit.
