Will these fit my XD? any one try it yet?

 

245-45-18 - they do not fit on the front of a stock XD, definately not if you lower it.

Ok on the back, though

I then tried 225-40-18 - they fit fine

 

I have 225/40-18s on my car and its dropped but they fit fine. No rubbing what-so-ever thankfully.

How did you find out it doesn't work on the front of the xD? Did you go to a tire store and have them put up a dummy set and saw it that way? Just curious

 

Yes, I took it to Firestone, had them mount the tires onto the rims, and then tried turning the wheel, no way would it work!

I tried 225-45-18, and they cleared, so I ordered those for the front, and am going to put the 245-45-18s on the back, should still look great. I'll post a pic next week once they come in.
