I test drove a Hot Lava xD and was impressed. Are there any plans for a DVD player for this car like the one available for the xB? I liked the xB, but wanted something a little better on gas like the xD. But I'd also like to have the DVD player for my daughter.

 

To my knowledge, nothing is coming out for the xD. The xB one wasn't too hot.

Invision makes factory quality DVD headrest systems, but they cost an arm and a leg (Retails for around $1600 + installation, I can get it for about $1350.00 shipped). The fabric is an exact match and is still an Active Headrest (safety feature involving headrest).

I would recommend a roof-mounted flip down screen. It's a bit cheaper. For this, I'd check with the local audioshops-- try posting in the regional forums and asking for a reputable audio shop. That usually is the best way to find one.

 

I had the Eclipse AVN 6620 with soundstream monitors installed in my headrest total cost was about $1600
