I was just wondering what were the different types of short shifters that are out for the tc.

 

TWM has a short shifter available now... I was flipping through a Scion mag and apparently TRD has a short shifter available soon? Who knows... don't see it listed on the TRD site tho.

 

Where did you get the scion mag?

i paid 135 for mine.

great products, but they don't have a clue about how to do business.

 

well i guess when there the only company makeing us a shortshifter tehy can do whatever they want with the price and theres nothing we can do but take it or leave it

 

i guesss so, i was actually gonna buy it soon until i seen them raise up the price...im not gonna pay that much for the shortshifter since i dont want one THAT bad..ill find a used one maybe or just wait till they lower the price or someone else makes one..if not, oh well

B&M has one coming out soon, I saw it listed on a site for like $125 free shipping.

 

I'm just going to wait for that. The B&M one will probably be better anyway... you can't argue with a name like B&M.

 

i can convert your stock shifter into a short shifter for $60. Local customers preferred, unless you want to ship your shifter to me.

 

Creative Compacts is having one made just like the TWM one and will be out in February for about 1/2 the price.

OMG I can't believe they'd do something like that, I was surfing another forum and someone mentioned they'd been raised, but noone confirmed it, and I never saw anything on their site saying how it was a "special" price or on Sale, and they just go and price gouge like that, then cut out their distributors so you can ONLY buy from them....

I went to their site about an hour ago to buy a short shifter and **** and saw that they wanted almost $300 w/shipping for a friggin short shifter and **** - they just lost one sale from me

and even if TWM dropped their price to $50 for the shifter and **** I still don't think I'd buy it after that stunt they pulled.... sorry, but I'm sure everyone will say along with me doing something like that is NOT how you do business.... Looks like I'll just wait for the competition. Shame on you TWM - Kudos on losing customers

 

Ya that is REDICULOUS. I believe Creative Compacts will be offereing it for around $70...Don't quote me, but around that and it will be the SAME design.

it was like 200.00, Its my best Mod yet..I love the Short Throw..Dont know much about Creative Compacts Shifter, But I will tell you they are a good company.
