i was on the AEM website and it said that there new V2 intake system is specially designed to reduce "engine noise". I had an AEM CAI on my old civic and i loved how loud it was. Could anyone shed some light on how loud the aem intake actaully is. If the sounds quality suffers because of aems new system then i would rather wait for injen or go with the K&N...i know its a stupid question but i would give up a couple HP just so my intake screams

 

i never heard the v2 but i dont think the sound is less aggressive. the v2 uses sound waves somehow to enhance air flow? something like that. but yeah, should be still good.

dont forget about the weapon R intake, plus you can get the ram air kit to go w/it. I had the injen intake on my old car and it was very loud and i loved it. I think i heard somewhere that the k&n is not that loud
