What do you think would sell better?
I'm cleaning up and likely selling my Axis Finish 19" wheels locally if I can get a decent price.

So what do think will look best to the general population?:
- All gloss black
- Gloss black center w/ polished outer lip
- Stripped to metal and clear coated

What were they originally? And what would they be if they were stripped and clear coated?

I say have them redone in gun metal.

Myself and a lady friend gave them a once over tonight with some detailer and a clay bar, so I think I'll try to sell them as is. If no one bites, I'll probably just blast and clear them since it'll cost less $$

Oh, and I'm thinking of laying down a vinyl orange stripe on the lip to help show the "bigness" of the 19's. Right now the black of the rims doesn't contrast the tires much, so they look smaller than they are.

 

i'd strip it and clear it. i like the original better imo

 

i say just sell them as is, there are plenty of people out there that are looking for black rims. If you start to have trouble selling them, then refinish them.

 

Black Rims shouldn't be much harder to sell
