Default If you've changed your speakers please help!

I am getting ready to replace my front components in my tc and havent had time to look at how to mount the tweeter. If you have done this please explain and post pics of your own door panel. I would greatly appreciate any pictures. That would really help me and I'm sure others as well.

Did you just mount them on that metal bracket?

Mounted to the factory bracket.

Just cut the other one off and then use some adhesive to attach the new one. Sorry...it's about the only thing I don't have a picture of in my walk through

But If I do it that way how would I be able to angle the tweeter toward the driver?

Bend the metal bracket. It's just super thin sheet metal.

Or, use thicker adhesive on one side. I did this and mine are angled pretty good towards me.

i just removed the bracket and all and installed the surface mount swivel on the door metal itself.....that way, if i want to, i could swap the stock speakers back in with no adjustments....

The stock tweeter just pops off of the bracket.
Bend the tabs on the bracket down flat.
Mount the new tweeter to the bracket with the means of your choice.

I'm not plannin on sellin it or anything....but i really wanted the adjustability....all it took to get the whole thing off was the one bolt holding it in....maybe I'll want to trade it in in a few years and sell the system seperate......this way it'll be easier to re-install the stock components....
