Yeah they are very common in the streets outside Tokyo. I used to live there for many years and they want to copy everything we do here. Buying Scion logos and putting them on they Toyota cars is popular, even with Lexus badges on the Aristo. That is not a Scion but a Toyota WISH born out of the successful Caldina wagon (a fantastic Turbo station wagon) Awesome isn't?...

So the Japenese want what we have and us North Americans (Americans, Canadians) want what they have?

Its like we live in bizarro world.

Thats why Toyota and Nissan made an announcement that they are bringing their luxury divisions over to Japan and maybe Europe plus Australia as well as the three other continents, wt* are we getting in return. I'm just kidding around, I seriously though what this display of unifying their product line will mean? Would it mean that the US models would reflect more on their JMD and European counterparts or will it be the other way around? Perhaps Lexus and Infiniti will define themselves slightly differently on each continent.

Btw, it would be great if Toyota brought over the Caldina GT-4, but if it was it would most likely be re-badged as a Lexus.

I'm much happier with what we have. The Japanese have some weird tastes, I don't want any of that.
