Best Exhaust For a Drop?
I am trying to decide between the TRD and DC Exhausts. Some people have mentioned on this forum that the TRD sits up high. I ordered the Ground Control coilover sleeves and am going to drop as far as my driveway will allow (2"- 2.5") on 15" rims (ATS Cup). Will the TRD make this easier then the DC? Also what is the noise difference between the two and will there be a noticeable difference in performance (hp). I will be installing the Injen intake as well. Thanks.
Does a catback sit higher? Would it do better with a drop? How does the Magnaflow compare in terms of noise to the TRD? I'm trying to stay on the quieter side. I've heard the sound clips from the Magnaflow, but don't know how this compares to the TRD.
if u live in california like me.....magnaflow = illegal....it requires u to cut the pipe thats part of the catalytic converter....meaning illegal.....when the smog guy gets under there in 2008 when we ill all be getting smoged for the first time.....he is going to say....nope u cant do that....sorry....u fail...

Im still debating on this issue, I want the dc exhaust, but im waiting to hear a TRD one before I spend the extra money on a DC...
im waiting on one that come with some kind of state approval paperwork then im gonna go to my local chp and ask my buddy who works there if its for real.....that what i do with all parts i buy now....i didnt think about that on my 2k civic si and got rolled by a sherrif for my lights and got the run down on all the lillegal stuff on my car....including things like my aem intake with CARB number right on it....i said he was full of crap the carb number is right there....he said anyone can put a carb number on it...it has to do with all the paper work that has to be filed and he said most companies that have carb numbers on their products are just so you will buy it....needless to say i got to eat the biggest damn fix it ticket for everything on the civic....
