Default Aem Short Ram

Ok i tried doing a search to find the thread on it didnt work.

My bro told me that AEM is going to offer a short air ram with a blow off valve is this true? If so where can i find more info and how much?

I think you mean water by pass valve. If you want a short ram, just cut the CAI in half :P

thats what i meant water bypass valve...so Aem isnt making any other kind of intake for the scion?

The bypass valve is completely useless on a short ram, it is only for CAI's, where suction of water is possible when driving into large puddles that submerge the filter.

my bad thanks for the 411...couldnt the grill suck water into the short air ram? or rain/wash water from the top of the hood?

i guess my question is any way water can get into a short air ram and cause damage?

Its not a short ram, and there will be a bypass available for it as well.
