I don't have Luminics in my headlight I have them in my foglights, so I guess they don't count. I have the JDM Yellows in the fog lights and they are very bright so far they have proven to be a good investment.

I have the JDM yellows (headlight bulbs) for quite a long time (can't remember when I got em). I was pretty happy with them. They were pretty bright and it seemed like the reflective lettering on street signs popped a little more (might have been my imagination). But I think they are starting to get a little dim over time. I don't drive at night very often, but to me it seems like they are starting to wear out. Now its really hard to see the far left and right sides of the road, which gets kinda annoying when turning.
But they have lasted me for quite a while and I don't expect them to last forever. But I think it was worth the price. I got mine for $35 I think.

Did your luminics act as both high beams an low beams?

I don't have Luminics... but the problem (generally) with going with higher K (6000K, 8000K, etc.) bulbs is that the lose their lighting power over a DISTANCE... although they are brighter.

The bulbs I have in now stretch about 3/4 the distance the stock bulbs did. Personally, I would go with a projection kit... Oznium.com has FlowLighting kits, which look good...

im currently using titanium whites. they are by far the brightest luminics. Im not exagerating on the brightness either. Compared to stock bulbs not only do they burn way brighter but also white.
to some people it may seem as if the light doesnt go as far but thats because it burns white. the color white doesnt travel as far as the stock yellowy color. I cant find the chart, but theres a chart somewhere out there that shows that.

but yeah titanium whites rock.
