Well today was the first day the new section of the 202 being open from Gilbert to Az Ave.
So now I am only 31 miles away from work not 35.5

All I can say its nice to get away from that corner on Az ave and Germann that circle K on the corner first thing in the morning is a killer with all the construction workers and big trucks.

 

it was nice, I was able to drive straight up AZ ave and right onto the 202 cause the cars where getting on at gilbert instead.

 

i havent taken the 202 out that far south, im out North on Brown where the 202 goes out to Power. So you're saying that to 202 in the South region goes to Gilbert now?

 

Yea.. they just opened on this weekend the stretch from Az ave. to Gilbert Rd.
Slowly making its way towards ellsworth.

Santan Freeway stretch opens ahead of schedule

The Santan Freeway between Arizona Avenue and Gilbert Road opened to traffic Saturday night, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.

The freeway's westbound lanes from Interstate 10 to Gilbert Road are completely open. The eastbound Santan Freeway is open from Gilbert Road to Arizona Avenue. The freeway from Alma School to Dobson is down to one lane, where ADOT is still striping the lanes.

ADOT anticipates having that work finished by Sunday night.

 

Sweet!! I dont know I said that, but maybe someday I will need to use it

 

I take Ironwood and back roads to the 60, or Riggs Rd to the 10. I might try the new 202 stretch tomorrow though. I drive 53 miles to work right now so I don't think anything will make it shorter........

 

So how did that become 3 "more" miles of joy? XD haha
I think they should put up more lights around germann and pecos

I keep turning into the wrong lane at first from friend's house x__x
