Default Great deal, but will they rub?

EdgeRacing is having a major sale.

Enkei Rp02 Wheels on sale - $105 EACH (17x8, Offset's 35)

Plus, Falken Azenis St115 are $70 each. http://www.edgeracing.com/tire/673/

Grand total with shipping: $786.82

Should I buy them? I like the rims... this deal is great!

Do you think these will be too wide? Will they rub on a stock tC that's not lowered?

stock tc will definitely not rub.... those are great prices for a enkei wheel. are they forged?

i wonder why theyre so low compared to the other models. something fishy perhaps.

Thanks for the info, Duma. EdgeRacing's a respectable site. It's a "blow-out" sale that they're having.

no prob.

now im tempted to get these for a 2nd wheel :p

even when you lower it, you wouldnt rub. most lowering springs wouldnt make it rub. the s-techs are suspect but in the worse cases, it shouldnt rub. the other springs will be fine as long as your shocks are fine.

That's the only color they have for the RP02's.. I love it, though.

Yes, made in Japan, very light and strong, one heck of a great deal on these wheels. I have hooked up a few buddies in the past with deals on them and they looked great, held up very very well, can't go wrong.

AND, 17x8 fits perfectly in a +35mm offset;)

ive talked to a bunch of people about offset and stuff .. how will 17X8s w/ a 35mm offset not rub? thats like a good inch and a half pushed out past stock .. im buying a set of enkei rsv's 18X7.5 and gettin a 45mm offset cuz im afraid they will rub .. i will be gettin spacers .. tho .. 3mm .. but people are sayin that an 8" wide rim/tire wont rub on a 35mm offset .. thats wierd .. i guess i should just get the 35mm offset that is offered .. im confuzed .. btw .. im lowered on Tein H-techs ..

My car is lowered on coilovers and I have have had it down pretty low once just checking things out. I had the rear camber at near zero degrees and it would rub slightly over big bumps, I adjusted the camber to 1 degree negative and it has not rubbed since and I have been over some very rough roads.

You probably have around that much negative camber now so should be just fine.

I have 235/40/17 tires on 17x8, +35, Enkei RPF1 wheels.

I would recommend getting 225/45/17 tires for a 17x8 wheel normally but for our autocross setup we needed a bit more tread on the ground.

RAAM, which turbo are you shooting for, ZPI, HKS, Greddy or a T3/T4? Just curious.
