While it is hard work and everything weights A LOT... I'm glad to be a part of the volunteer force up there. They need all the hands they can get... most work on the passenger cars.. while that is great and I even assist, the big part is making sure these locomotives keep running. We have another locomotive that is in the process of restoration and hopes of it finished in the Summer....

I'll talk to the guys at the shop and see if we can get one or two locomotives fired up. Normally the #17 is fired up for our normal excursions.
