That reminds me of a car at the strip I race at. One night, there was a piece of crap early 80's rusted out Mustang. Not a 5.0, but the 4-cylinder. Very slow, very ugly, but the guy kept winning. He ended up winning the "Drag What You Drove" class that night against numerous Firebirds, Camaros, and even a Vette. Everyone was laughing and cheering for him simply because the car was so ugly and slow and everyone loves an underdog. He was pretty happy with his trophy too.

back in the day plenty of 4drs & wagons came with big blocks, so you had to be careful, but at least you could tell if there were some stones packed under the hood. this thing??? that's hilarious....imagine all the fun you could have on a cruise night..... I can hear it now:
