Default Having a hell of a time with some Sparcos...

Some Sparco Fighters fell into my lap a while back and I've just now begun to install them...

So the instructions that are included, suck bad.... I've installed racing seats before so I use a bit of intuition...

Problem #1: The seat bracket mounting holes to not line up with the sliders, one of the holes is off by 1/8"....

Resolution: #1: DRILL IT out

Problem #2: The sloppy welding gets in the way of you tightening down the bolts/nuts properly

Resolution #2: Grind the welds smooth.

Problem #3: Now that the seat is installed, the sliders are locked up and don't work (I think it's too much tension with problem #1's issue causing them to bind...

Resolution: #3: Go eat, come back tomorrow...

Anyone else have this much trouble with the Wedge Engineering brackets for the tC? They bolt to the floor perfect but as far as bolting to the sparco sliders (and yes I adjusted for 2 F**#**#n hours), it came down to a modification..

Now that's just the passenger side.. i can't wait till I do the driver side tomorrow (sigh)...

End result... half-done car..

I'll post pictures soon.. still need the 3 or 4 point harness from Sparco as I have the Weapon-R from my old seats but they just don't match ;)

I had no problems what so ever with my brackets. Everything bolted up nicely. I had the megan seats with the wedge brackets.

I have Corbeau CR-1's and Corbeau brackets and it took about 20 minutes to install both. Couldnt of been easier.
