Default shipping fees, overseas? what?

so i went into my toyota dealer with a list of other dealers in california that had black 5-speed xbs. they jokingly asked me if i wanted a job and said that he could call around. anyway he still claims that it may have to get shipped over from japan......um dont we have manufatures in the united states?.... this has got to be BS. do you think hes trying to get me to beleive its got to beshipped to have to pay transfering/shipping fees? ive already had people tell me that toy. of slo has horrible service.

this guy said they didnt trade with a couple places on my list. he claimed they didnt trade with longo, or carson scion. carson has a black 5-speed, but SLO wont trade with them. my depoist contract says its gonig to be 1-4 months. its really sad , cause i had to explain to him that im keeping the business local, and im putting faith in my local dealer to find me one. too bad its all my effort towards the search for one.

San Luis Obispo right? The Scions are built 100% in Japan. We have had guests come down from SLO because the delers are limited on supply up there. Let me know if there are any questions you might have

I heard that for the first time in Toyota history, the plants are in production 3 shifts a day 24-7 to make xB's! The only plant for Scions (as of right now) is in Japan, that's no BS.

In terms of dealer trading, some do, some don't. We do it all the time. I'm guessing you'd be better worth your time giving Verone a call, since he has them in stock. I have no idea where San Luis Obispo is, but it's gotta be closer to LA than here.

I'm worth it! j/k, although I wouldn't mind going to Vegas right now. I just got back from vacation, and I already need another one!

The only gear I've got is the bag they gave at SEMA, and my beanie, which I will be sporting with pride! I wouldn't want my shiny dome to get all chilly, ya mean?
