Best part is, most people have no idea what most of the equipment is I run *LOL* makes it more fun when people ask about it haha.

 

DLS amps by themselves are expensive as sh*t. cost a pretty penny eh?

 

They are not super cheap, but they are not priced along the lines of brax or genesis either even though they are equal to or outperform them I started out with an A7 with the old system which is a monster 5 channel all class a/b. The new system has two A3 twin monoblocks and an A6 powerhouse for the subs. I have to say after years and years in car audio, DLS by far makes the best amplifiers I have had the pleasure of useing. They are the kind of amp you buy for life, the kind that gets re-installed 3 vehicles down the road haha.

 

any chance of telling us how it's all going to be installed? glass? mdf-only?

 

Trying to figure that out I have XXX amount of equipment to fit in XX space haha. You guys will have to wait and see... I am iffy on glass as the pure size and weight of these subs being inverted, the power I am pushing to them in a sealed enclosure...... well with the way I drive I would have to layer VERY VERY VERY thick. Guess I will know when the build starts haha! With me, things have to be functional, reliable and look good, often times three items that are hard to mix.

hahaha i feel ya dude. I'm int he same boat pretty much. When it comes time to redo the trunk with glass sometime over the summer, i have to figure out a way to fit 2 10" monitors, a full size nitrous bottle, 2 amps, and 2 10's. yikes!

 

This is a pic of the old setup... not bad for a 1/2 days work trying to get it done 24 hours before a show haha. This one will be no exception, I will have almost no time to get everything 100% completed.

 

when's the show?

 

Saturday - Sunday... as in this Saturday and Sunday *LOL* I have a full days work on another project tommorow on the tC so I basically will get Friday to finish it if all plays out. So glass for now is out of the question for sure haha!

 

I like it...lots of esoteric gear. Those Monitor speakers are killer. Post more pics as you go!
