General Altimax HP are excellent stock size replacements

i have 225/50/16 on my xb2 on 16x7.5 wheels. they are quieter then the stock goodyear rsa. they handle really good and also in the rain. i would recommend them.

30,000 Mile Report.....

With 30,000 miles on these GENERAL ALTAMAX Tires, there is no trace of any wear. The built in wear monitor (words) are the same as when the tires were new. Traction and GRIP is outstanding in all conditions. I am so glad I got these high performance tires! It was a good choise, just like the XB.

i had General tires on my 19's and they were great tires for the price, great grip and lasted a while even with camber, i was happy with my purchase as well

40,000 MILE REPORT

At 40,000 miles I began to notice alignment wear on the sides of the tread. The center was still thick, but both sides showed bad alignment wear.

Final report: These tires lasted 40,000 miles.

I replaced them with another set, $61 General Altimax HP,
Next time I will get the General Altimax LT (a touring version of the HP that will last 70,000 moles).

I also got 'camber bolts' for a more acurate front alignment. PTuning did the work and they are great.
