Heard a couple days ago that the '09 xD & xB's are coming out in a week or two and they'll only be $100.00 more. Anybody else heard this? After reading all the wonderful comments here, I think my mind is set on the xD. But, maybe I'll obsess a little more.

 

I heard about Toyota/Scion upping the prices on their vehicles. Forget why though.

 

we've had 09 xbs for over a month now.100 price different is correct. we arent gettin 09 xds for another couple months. 09 tc no price adjustment. i dont understand why it went up a 100 for xb when all they did is discontinue a color and make a new one available.

 

i personally cant wait to see the rs1 xd in person, we havent gotten ours yet and good choice notanold on xd

Well, I'm in the PNW, so maybe different areas get theirs at different times. Our "local" dealer just got in an '09 xB and '09 tC, so maybe the xD's are next.

yea sorry i forgot dependin on how your region is doin they hold the 09s at port. i kno the xds arent coming 09 at least right now but not in too long i forgot what the toyota rep told us. the rs1 xd is the release series xd thats hot lava with custom body kit,with trd springs already,spoiler,color keyed interior ,etc..only 2000 made i beleive

 

any difference in the '09 xDs (from the 08 model)?

big bird .they discontinued nautical blue and made stingray metallic. and good call robbie. its nice.and toyota hasnt realy said anything in changes in the xd in 09

 

Hmm well I'm not sure about any changes on it, or the release date but looking at the colors for the 09, I'm seeing Red MM as a color (?) instead of barcelona red metallic...

no clarification yet though on what that color is....

Hot lava, huh...............sounds like a color I would not be interested in, but I'm sure it and the custom pkg would appeal to others.

Just went to the dealer website and the prices for the '09's are the same as the '08's. NO price increase!!!! So, I'm wondering then, if they'll be offering any special "deals" or reduction in price of the '08's to move them.

 

it would be interestin if they changed that red that they use on alot of the toyota models too. i dont see them pricin dropin it just yet. maybe in a while

 

I doubt they'll be offering deals on the 08s to get them out the door. Most everyone right now is trading in their gas pigs and down sizing to these or similiar cars. The 08s might drop a bit in price but not that much most likely.

 

yea exactly. i mean we are out of all our 08s except for our xds obviously. now we just have 09 tcs and xbs.. problem is people are so upside down with suvs and trades they are payin 27 for a tc in the end.

 

Didn't really expect they would..............was just thinking outloud. ;-) There's still a pretty good inventory of all '08 Scion's at the local dealers (according to their websites).

every dealership around me are literally, and continually, out of xDs. They get them in and sale them practically the same day. So glad I ordered my special hot lava. Hah!

 

same here in hawaii been out of auto xd's for awhile. supposedly to get some by end of the month.
