Default CarbonXe Progression, 6/29 Update, Exhaust Sound Clip

In a nutshell...Tires -> Suspension -> Comfort -> Power -> Aerodynamics -> Interior, with a bunch of useless crap thrown in between.

I seriously have zero pictures of the car when it was stock. I got the car home, drove to my friends house and we began modding.

March 2008
Hour 1. 18" Stockers, TRD springs and 5000K HIDs installed.

Springs still not settled. 4x4 status FTW!

Day 2. The new tC is nowhere to be found. Getting more work done so I'm stuck driving a Camry.

Got the car back a few days later. Anzo's, S2K antenna, OEM lip kit, and OBX Pedals installed.

She's already filthy . 05 Upper OEM Grille installed.

HID's beginning to break in, slowly starting to lose the much unwanted color.

First time getting washed and waxed. TRD exhaust installed.

Had to something about this fugly mess.

Swapped the LEDs and gauge plates from my 05 cluster to my new 08 cluster. Wasn't too satisfied with the results (changed later). Didn't get around to doing the needles yet.

April 2008
This month was full of the most subtle and useful mods I've purchased. Started it all off with a ScanGuage 2.

Got my HVAC back from Alan (O5_TRD_TC). Thanks!

Redid my gauges again, this time I got it right. MUCH better.

The fugly stock mirror.

The new 270mm Convex Blue Broadway mirror. I hate driving without one anymore.

Got my keyhole plugs in.

Repainted my useless strut bar. It came off the car in September.

Bought these for my 05 tC back in January, finally got them in April. Well worth the wait. 1 of 50 made from the original batch.

May 2008
Decided to take it up a notch.

Went all out for the exhaust. Can't have a sleeper with a giant fart cannon sticking out the back and I sure as hell wasn't buying something that would be rusted up by the spring time. PTuning 3" S-Pipe back exhaust. The first piece of my turbo kit.

Sold my TRD exhaust, so I installed the back part of the PTuning exhaust. Springs are now well settled, and Hotchkis Rear Sway bar installed.

June 2008
Got my VRD fogs and installed them a few days later.

Switched to Nokya Hyper Yellow bulbs. One burnt out within a day, so I went back to stock, turned out for the better.

July 2008
Grabbed one of my spare waterfalls and repainted the outside to white.

Repainted the middle section to a very close to stock looking silver.

The radio cover was finished, and I was in the stages of clearing/wet sanding the waterfall when things started to go south. Decided to scrap the project and stick to stock.

More pieces of the puzzle began to arrive. Not going to bother posting a picture of every piece, all those shots are in my boosted thread. The wait for boost was a long process. Seriousness was getting close.

August 2008
Upgraded the shift boot to suede and swapped out my stock shift **** for a Mustang GT ****. Yes, Mustang GT. It's ____ing comfortable.

Got my Clazzio Seat Covers in. Interior finished.

Got to take a ride in the PTuning Time Attack tC at Summit Point.

October 2008
Getting ready to take a trip to VIR to support PTuning. Gauges installed but only powered on, no sensors plugged in. Holy HUD Batman!

Couldn't fit it all in one shot . Short throw installed, oldest picture of it.

October into November 2008
Playtime begins now.

The slew of parts about to get installed.

Night one is coming to an end. The turbo must go in.

Called it a night with the turbo mounted.

Day 2 is now over. All piping in place, FMIC in place, gauges fully installed, F/IC installed. Called it a night after the oil pan went in. Gave it a full 24 hours for the gasket crap to cure.

Day 3 of the turbo install begins. Lots of cleaning up to do.

Firing up the gauges.

November 2008
First time showing the car at a meet since May. Back on stockers.

At PTuning's Dyno Shoot Out. Driving to the back to get the car put on the Dyno.

Doing a little tuning before going onto the dyno.

Getting set up, nervous as hell and hoping that I break 240whp.

Broke 240whp lol. Needs more torque, needs a clutch and needs to get tuned. Going back to PTuning for all 3.

Cleaned up and showing off the numbers, getting judged for the show.

December 2008
One of my single LED driving lights burnt out, so i upgraded to 5 LED.

Switched from 5000K to 4300K

Upcoming : December 2008/January 2009
My Kaminari Adjustable Carbon Fiber Wing and Kaminari Rear Bumper are currently being used by PTuning. I'll be picking up these two parts in a few weeks.

March 2009
Added:
Clutch Masters Stage 4 6-Puck clutch
Clutch Masters 11lb Flywheel
Energy Suspension Motor Mounts
Forge Unos-ball Manual Boost Controller
2-tone Kaminari Rear Bumper
Tuned to 11.5PSI
Back on my 18's

Installed my Eclipse 6620 Nav unit and fixed my gauge wires.

March 23, 2009. The car is finished. PTuning's Time Attack Kaminari Wing has finally been installed.

April 2009

Picked up a set of Corbeau Carrera's (CR1). Got them for only $300 from some guy in PA. buying the brackets this week and installing either this weekend of next weekend.

May 2009
Rear seat delete, eDead, new LED swap, first tC with a trunk FTW!

June 2009

Huge thanks are owed to:
Everyone at PTuning and Ross Miller - For giving me the opportunity to ride in the Time Attack tC at Summit Point, for dynoing my car for free, for the Wing/Bumper, and for all the help you've offered. You guys are one of the best shops on the entire East Coast and I will be bringing my tC back to you guys for any work that needs to be done and I will continue to support and recommend you guys.
Todd from Turbo Toyotas - I wouldn't be boosted if it wasn't for the deal Todd offered me. Even though it was a long process, it was worth the wait.
Paul from Dezod - You were always readily accessible when I needed help and assistance.
The rest of the Dezod crew - You guys have one of the best stores online and shipped out all my parts within days.
Felginator - FOR NOTHING LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL! J/k TY for helping with the turbo install and letting me use your garage, because I'm a noob and I don't have any tools.

K. For the record, this thread took me almost an hour to finish.[/b]

Thanks and NP . Isn't that you in the one picture, with the blue jacket? I remember you, but I don't remember what you were wearing lol.

. I've been contemplating on whether or not to go back to white. I've opted to leave it blue, because everytime I go back and try to fix something that doesn't need to be fixed, I break it to the point that it needs replacement.

I love it!!!!!! Looks sick! Your from Parsippany right?? Im from Fort Lee, i dont think they are too far apart from each other. The only thing i have to say though, is that from my experience with my Valentine1 it is better to mount it higher closer to the rear view than where you have it in the corner. Its better for lasers up high.

It's not even mine, lol. I was just using it for the road trip down to VIR. I just wanted to position it so it was pretty much impossible to see from the outside, it worked just fine in the corner.
