Default Anyone know where to buy repair manual

I have looked at both Chilton and Haines and cannot find a repair manual for the 2006 Scion XA. Am I missing something or does it not exist? Also, does the 2006 XA have a timming belt or chain and when do I need to worry about replacing it. Thanks for any info.

Default Try eBay

I would try eBay. I got mine for a '04 xA for about $162 for both manuals. They have a LOT of information and I really recommend them if you are serious about learning about your car. They are getting rare though, so keep looking. Also, a Toyota/Scion dealership might have one.

Also, it's a timing chain so it shouldn't present a problem for quite some time :-)

Thanks for the replies. Hopefully Hwybox is correct and I will try Toyota. I saw in the owners manual about a reapair manual, but never paid much attention to it, but since I'm keeping this car for the long haul I want to be able to do the easy things myself. Of course easy is subjective unless you have the proper tools. Can't tell how many times I've smashed my knuckles trying to loosen a bolt. Thanks Ram for the timing belt issue, cannot tell you how many times I've googled just one question and got no direct answer.

I bought a CD off of ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SCION...item20aeecf51e

It has everything that I've needed so far...including the wiring diagram. If there's something specific that you need, I can see if I can just scan it over to you or somthing. But do keep in mind, my example of the wiring diagram was 232 pages, I beleive.

it's great. it's what the techs use at the dealerships.

however, they get free access.
hint: find someone that works there
