Everyone has extra parts and pieces laying around, right? what better way to all get together and buy/sell/trade, show your car, see old friends and make new ones! we are on for Sunday, February 21st. 9:00 am at Magic Toyota/Scion in Edmonds. If the weather is good, we'll be outside, if not, we'll be in their new parking garage. Don't have many details as of yet, but it's a chance to get rid of some of those old Scion and Toyota parts/pieces and maybe buy some new ones. No charge for a spot for your car and a table of goods (table not provided). May even have some door prizes. Just add your name to the list if you want one. I'll post more info as I get it. And if ANYONE has any suggestions on how to make this thing a hit, please share!

UPDATE!

Roll in for the people on the list is gonna be 8:00am, if your not on, then you won't get in till 9:00. If you sign up and aren't there before 9:00, your spot will not be held (unless you make arrangements with me ahead of time).

maybe see if can set up a dealer or other biz that would donate space for a few hours one day????

Kinda Erik, it'd be nice to be able to have a table and lay your goods out for people to stroll around and check out. I think a dealership would be the best route. My brother is looking into possibly doing it at Magic Toyota, in Edmonds. I suggested their new parking garage, it'd be out of the rain, well lit, and you could set up shop out of your trunk.

Thanks Pete. Online and its pretty much Craigslist. Theres no replacement for the good old fashion swap meet. If we only do it at an old drive-in.

 

lols rad is rad.........you think just because things are current that it makes them great. look at the word unfriend (un-hyphenated...) which is a word now, to the terror of anyone who can speak proper English.

so i think if terrible 80's fashion can make a comeback so can the word "rad". i mean come on they even made a movie with the title.....

and maybe just having the swap meet during the next bellevue meet and greet if they are cool with that? indoors lots of room.....yeah! besides it would be a great excuse for the more absent owners to finally show up......

 

That would be cool, but Friday night is a rough commute for people that live farther away. On a weekend would probably enable more people to make it. But whatever we can make happen would be totally tubular. talked to my bro again, and he dug the idea, just has to run it by the top boss.
