Back in a Scion ...
... temporarily, anyway. My Yaris is in the shop having a clutch replaced (having them put the TRD unit in) due to regular clutch chattering. Luckily it's covered under warranty.
Anyway, I asked if they could put me in an xD loaner car, and sure enough, they did (Beaverton Toyota). I'm quite impressed with the power! It's taking some time to get used to the gauge pod. Also, the seating position is quite different from my Yaris; I feel it's even more upright. I'd love to drive one with a five-speed!

makes you want to sneak that 1.8 out and dump it in the yaris huh......lol......we are so ripped off drive trane wise here compared to japan and elsewhere........
I also noticed the xD was even more up right of a sittign position feeling than the Yaris, and our car is about as upright as you can get, like sittign in a chair at times.......one more month and Sparcos will be in......finally.

The xD was nice. I definitely felt like I sat higher up, but the power was very nice. I only had the car for two days. I think I put about 55 miles on it.
