From the look of the "pm'd" post... looks like you may already have this sold.

No biggie... I really just had a question I wanted to bounce off ya or anyone else that may know the answer to this...

Obviously I know what this component is... I'm still in the process of researching what HU I want to ultimately go with... and I really like having the steering audio controls w/ the OEM upgraded Pioneer T1809.

Is/are the PAC components for use in our Scion tC's universal to the tC? or are there different ones available and a person has to purchase one that is either HU and/or brand specific to still be able to use the steering audio controls? I've done a lot of custom audio installs in my time, but just never (up to this point) one with existing OEM steering controls already installed.
Thanks for any info/experience anyone can add on this.
I'm not meaning to thread jack here... but since this is right in line, figured it would be stupid to create a new thread for one simple question.

The unit can be used on different vehicles(which are compatible), there are different models for different head unit manufacturers: SWI-J.A.C.K.(JVC/Alpine/Clarion/Kenwood) + I think some others work.
