Does any of you have a pulley and your engine is well after 60,000 miles? Any problems?

NOTE: This is not a pulley bash post or thread, please keep comments about how a pulley does damage to your engine to yourself, there has been many threads covering the damage that some say happens. So just post your opinion over the engines that have above 55,000 or 60,000 miles on it. No Bashing please.

august/30/2006

5,000-10,000 miles:8
11,000-20,000 miles:6
21,000-35,000 miles:10
36,000-50,000 miles:4
over 50,000 or 60,000 miles: 4

Helps:
*quicker acceleration at all RPM
*avarge hp freed up, is 10hp

problems:
none

NOTES:
*Pulley+turbo, no problems and car has 22,000 miles on the engine.

This update does not represents nothing, it is only to show the amount of people using the pulleys and if any problems have been encountered. Thanks for all the info guys. Keep posting. Also, I don't have very much time in my hands and if these numbers look wrong please, I am super sorry, is just that I'm really tired,

I have been running NST pulleys for the past few years on all my daily drivers, not just the tC. I don't know the exact mileage to be honest with you, but I know I have gone well past 75,000 miles.

I have had other motors besides the 2az such as the 4ag and 4agze motors some race and some stock running with 0 issues with the NST pulleys with over 100K miles on them. NST ROCKS!

what kind of gains would you see on a stock tC with the NST?

I have at least 15,000 and haven't noticed anything yet. The one thing that I am concerned with is the pulley being aluminum and the seal riding on it will cause it to leak or wear a groove in the pulley over time. I am not sure if that will happen I know over time the seal will wear out but I was more concerned with a groove in the pulley.

i've had them on for 1500
no problems whatsoever. Air conditioning blows just as cold as it did with the stock pully, this is when it's cooling the 85 degrees plus 85% humidity florida air.

Goin on about 18000 miles now. Runs as good as it did when I put it on. Ive reverted everything else on my car back to stock and I can still feel the difference the pulley makes. Pulls strong in the mid range.

This is pretty good info. Becuase if you guys can go at least 60,000 miles without problems and I was able to rack up 6,000 miles in one year of driving. It means it would take me 10yrs to get that many miles. Shoot by that time ill have another car (hopefully a scion)

Is good to know this, that many people have gone over 15,000 miles, a year, and no change whatsoever on the engine performance, keep em coming guys, good info for everyone.

Been running NST pullies on my ride for awhile now and its still running strong w/no problems. Car is at 48k miles now. Highly recommend NST pullies, one of my best investments made, performance-wise.

Actually I was very curious since the real test would be for an engine with the pulleys to be over 100,000 miles. But I think that there is not enough people on that milage range AND with pulleys. So if enough people post about this maybe we can judge from the performance part of this mod, on a medium to long range of miles on the engine and call it a day about the "bad" part of this mod. But this thread will take a lot of effort and time to prove anything with this. So I just think this would be post to scratch the surface of the real problem. This is all IMO, just to help other that have the same questions that I do and maybe clear somethings. But still I do not want, for now, any negative regards about pulleys, this is just to see how many people are using them and if they ever encounter a problem and at what milage are their engines.
