This video is actually pretty old, but that doesn’t take away from the weirdness of watching a Scion xB get sideways. It’s cool, but really not something that you see everyday thanks to the wonder of front wheel drive. To be fair, even if the xB was rear wheel drive, the stock 2.4-liter straight four would be badly suited for drift duty.
A 2jz on the other hand… That would do quite nicely.
Yes, it’s weird. Yes, there are a million other cars better suited for drift duty. Yes, it probably cost to much. All that is true, but I an appreciate these guys daring to be different.
