This is likely the most ambitious Scion project that I’ve seen yet. It’s one thing to turn a tC into a full fledged drift machine with the help of the factory behind you. It’s a completely different thing to attempt the same project by your lonesome. Most would be daunted by the challenge. On a difficulty scale of 1 to 10, I’d say this ranks about a 42.

The chevy V8 is only the start of it too. He’s replaced the original frame of the car with a full tube frame and cage, he’s grabbed suspension parts off of a Chevy S10, hell, he’s even decided to put the whole thing on bags. Did I mention that he chopped the roof off?

Check out DavidWard’s insane build in the forums. First gen xB forum users have probably seen it already, but if you haven’t, I suggest checking it out. It’s not every day that someone decides to build a V8 xB  truck.
