Endangering Carbon Fiber Supply – TRD Griffon GT86 at Goodwood

Just a year ago Toyota introduced the GT86 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. For the 2013 festival, the masterminds at TRD have gotten a hold of a GT86 and drizzled more velocity in the form of adding lightness.

The body panels and bumpers are now carbon fiber, but they’ve kept the stock motor. The suspension was stiffened, TRD added a mechanical limited-slip diff, and the interior has been outfitted with a slew of TRD goodies.

To celebrate this race-ready GT86 build, Toyota has created a dramatic video highlighting how serious this car is about eating any track for lunch and having room for dessert. Check it out below, and have a peek at the gallery, too.
