Let us take a moment to gape over this AE86: grandfather of the FR-S. Owner Petter Hongseth has done the worldwide community a great service by keeping this car so clean. Staring at this Corolla for hours on end should be considered a new form of alternative healing.

This AE86 started out life as a basic 1984 Toyota Corolla Levin, and has been transformed into the marvel you see here: it is a supreme mix of race car and show car.

The engine: twin-cam, 20-valve 4A-GE running to the tune of 170 horsepower — again, this is a tasteful mix of show and go — 170 horsepower is perfect. The motor itself is a proper mixture of drool and go.
