Redline Time Attack is a motorsport series that happens across Southern California and allows vehicles of all types to try and compete and set the fastest lap times possible. The differing classes are divided by front-wheel drive (FWD), rear-wheel drive (RWD), or all-wheel drive (AWD) and then divided by varying levels of modification. Today’s feature car competed in the Modified FWD class, and was the class winner of 2015.
This tC features a built turbocharged motor; 275-section width Maxxis RC1 competition tires; a reinforced Camry transmission with a limited slip differential; aero; a gutted interior, with bolt-in half cage and stock seats (?) and coilover suspension via Function and Form.
Although we question about some of the modifications done to this vehicle, there is no denying how much fun Matt Farah is having trying to wrestle 350 horsepower through the front wheels.
He obtained a bachelor's degree in Political Science at the Ohio State University in 2013, then pivoted from covering politics and policy to writing about his automotive adventures, something that, he says, is a lot more fun. Since that time, he has established connections with most of the world's major automakers, as well as other key brands in the automotive industry.
