Scion Teases New Concept Debut for Los Angeles Auto Show
Next month will mark the beginning of the Los Angeles Auto Show, and according to Scion, the company has some big plans. We’ve already seen two new Scion models debut this year, but the company doesn’t seem to be ready to stop there. However, we’re not exactly sure what Scion is actually planning. Rumors suggest it might be a Scion crossover, something to compete with the Nissan Juke and the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. But judging from the press release and the teaser image above, it could honestly be a Scion-badged Death Star.
According to Scion: “Following the recent introduction of the Scion iM 5-door hatchback and the sporty Scion iA sedan, the youth division of Toyota is preparing to further expand its lineup with a third all-new vehicle. The world debut of the next Scion concept will take place at the Los Angeles Auto Show, Nov. 18-19, 2015.”
That’s about as much information as you’d get out of a dead Soviet spy. Even the teaser doesn’t really give anything away apart from the badge. We could infer all we want, and say that it could be this or that, but honestly, we have no idea what it is.
So stay tuned, these teasers are usually followed by full leaks of the car as we get closer to the upcoming auto show.
