To be honest, the exterior color of Chris Basselgia’s makes me think of a ’50s F100—which isn’t to say I don’t like it. Given how much of a pure sports car the FR-S is, I really appreciated the subtle interior touches that hark back to the classic European rides which introduced small, light, well-handling cars to this side of the Pond. Basselgia sounds prettty confident he’ll take the win at the show, and I have to say that I like his restrained approach to the build. We’ll just have to wait and see who the judges crown to know if his confidence is going to pay off.
The FR-S is going to be all over the place this year, and we’ll be posting tons of photos from the floor starting Tuesday. Stay tuned for updates about everything happening with Scion at SEMA 2012!
