Apparently there’s a patent for an STI branded BRZ, and it definitely looks awesome.

Subaru is looking at possibly adding advanced technology to make the BRZ faster, possibly even using an electric turbocharger.

The GT86 in question makes 400 horsepower and 370lb-ft of torque, all of which is thanks to a Precision 5558 turbo that puts down 16psi of boost!

Will the HyperBlue Series be Subaru’s saving grace? We highly doubt it.

Toyota’s latest co-project with BMW, supposedly called the 69DZ, may be a smaller, lighter, and less powerful version of the GT86 platform.

If you love blue and not enough power, the Series.HyperBlue BRZ will be available in the U.S. sometime this fall.

The Subaru BRZ tS is getting the STI treatment with a whole host of new goodies to make the already track focused car that much more capable.
