Here are Two More FR-S Variants We Won’t Get in the States
The new 2015 FR-S will receive a host of upgrades that set it apart from previous years. Unfortunately, those upgrades are only for Japan.
First off, the new GT85 14R-60 Edition will be based off the TRD Griffon concept seen at last year’s Tokyo Auto Salon. It will feature a little bit more power, improved aesthetics, and much better handling.
Meanwhile, TRD has also breathed on the car and added new front and rear splitters, a new central exhaust, new lightweight rims, and a tuned suspension.
Second, there will be the Cb GT86, which is a much fancier concept. It will have a completely redesigned body kit, special rims, special paints with a two tone option, and retro inspired gauges. Along with a host of interior embellishments as well.
Now if only Scion would bring some of these options to the States!
