Default List headers that will work with s/c

i've searched for a good hour now and nothing. i went through all 11pages of the "official s/c thread" and nothing.

for all of u SL'ers that have a s/c with header please list all of the ones that will work.
i hope one of them is the dc sports.

also will using a header damage the shaft of the s/c from the extra heat?

thanks all.

Headers that will work:

DC Sports
Strup
MMW
Alphawerks
Megan but I dont recommend it as it sits VERY close to the SC

Almost any of them will fit. The ones I mentioned are only ones that I have tried first hand and know they fit from experience.

thanks browndogg. there is someone selling a used dc sports for $160. im really tempted to get it but im afraid that the extra heat will mess up the s/c.

most people with superchargers have an aftermarket header so you should be ok...and DC is a good one. also if you are too worried about that...with the DC one, you can have the stock heat shield placed over it with a little bit of modification of the mounting position...someone here had tried it and it worked out well

yup - i have it on my car - i sent it directly from strupp to jethot - then i got it shipped from them to me (got me out of paying tax and the extra shipping).

Jethot is coated inside and outside - its proven to reduce heat. When you put your hand near it ..any header will be hotttttttt ... but have it 3/4's as hot is better then full heat. Any header I probably ever get I would get coated cause nomatter what its better to have as much heat leave the engine bay. I never once thought about putting the heat shield back on. I am not on this forum like I used to be but it seems like people w/ messed up superchargers have gone down (which makes you believe toyota had a flaw which they fixed).
