Reason there are no american cars because they're unreliable, dangerous and have poor build quality
Also the reason their resale is so horrible.

one of the only things you've ever said that is correct

it's an ugly truck , well car with a truck shaped body.

people like it cause it has honduh reliability , and cause it has lockable storage.

it can't tow , it's pretty well underpowered , it's a honduh , and it's not a true truck .

It is only simple. The Japs rule the auto industry and set the standard to follow!

Fords are notoriously dangerous.
The early mustangs, pintos and the receint crown victorias all explode when hit from behind.
Not to mention the poorly build tops on the explorer that would crumple on roll over.
Just some examples.
I'm just mentioning ford.
The rest of the american brands have had saftey issues also.
Do a internet search on the subject.
