i like the fact it's a hatch but that hood and body kit make an ugly car even uglier.

I like it. It looks like one badazz hatch...

But once again, we probably won't get it in the US.

I can picture it in a diff color and a less agressive kit, and I like it.

I wonder if they kept the rear torsion beam suspension that the regular Euro civic has.

wow that's really.. odd looking. it almost looks like a Focus a little bit. I can honestly say I'm dissappointed with the body styling in the rear. I'd seen pictures of the regular Civic hatch (Europe), and thought that was ugly- but with all the trim and bright yellow paint it just makes it look like a big neon booger. :thumbs down:

I like the styling on the Euro-hatch version, but that body kit/color really jacks up the car.

Regardless, Honda says they won't sell the hatch in the US due to the bad sales of the previous version.

As well as leaving a good amount of people feeling jipped when they compared it to the Type R being offered everywhere else but the US. In fact, it would be cool if Honda exported or made some hatches for the US just to see if people here would be willing to take another stab at it.

I dont think aesthetics had much to do with it. The EP3 powertrain was simply was too pedestrian for the Si moniker. It was slower than the EM1 Si and it had a lower revline as well.

There are lots of honda hatch fans out there, I actually like the euro civic...

LMHO! The rims look bigger than the whole car itself. How exactly are you suppose to drive that? If I wanted something like that, I'll go get a used CRX; body kit and paint the heck out of it, and still save enough money for engine mods to smoke that thing. C'mon Honda, I know you can do better than that. My tC looks better than that car and IT'S STOCK!!!!
