Pretty cool,
what kind of projectors did you get from TRS ?
I am looking to get their stage 3 kit but i'm not sure if their FX-R projector will look small in my 5.0 housing or not.

You should get a quad tip exhaust i know many subies have them, but i think quad looks hot !

http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...roducts_id=254 <--this is the kit I bought..the projectors are morimoto..I think they are a generic projector that they buy in house or something..but to the best of my knowledge they aren't off of any specific car.

and yeah the COBB is a quad tip exhaust. the 2011 wrx uses the same exhaust as the 2008+ sti along with a lot of the body panels..I was on the fence about the wrx up until the 11 came out with the sti wide body and then I knew I was screwed because at that point I had to have one haha

Oh and I apologize if it seems like I am rambling..gf made margaritas tonight and she has a heavy hand with the tequila...hahaha

Love the car and the color! And what you've done with it, looks super clean with the mudflaps and the plate relocation. Did you have a tC? How does insurance compare?

There's a WRB 2011 hatch that parks behind me at school, and I drool over it He has the SPT exhaust and it sounds awesome.

Anyway, I have my eyes set on either a sedan or hatch (can't make up my mind) 2012 WRX. WRB, silver or white. I just wanna do SPT exhaust, short shifter, retrofit, upgraded brake pads and sticky tires. Can't forget the RallyArmor mudflaps also haha. It should be fun with that stuff in stock class autocross. Should be able to get one when I graduate this coming June. Until now, I'm jealous!

Thanks man and yup..I had an 07 tC that I bought back in mid 06..last pic I have of her before I drove back to the dealer to pick up the wrx I actually do miss it in some ways lol but not enough to have any regrets!

I just noticed you do have quad exhasut, lol...
Yeah i also miss my tC. It is not sold yeat cuz it's in NYC, but once i'm out of the military i will sell it.
I know i'll miss having and uderdog because not many people on the road have an idea of a 16psi turbo monster and 400WHP under the hood lol...
But in the end i know that 5.0 is a better platform and better performance vehicle in most parts. Plus it looks just more serious.

I'm looking into getting Vortech blower for my 5.0

a blower on the 5.0 would be awesome! Post vids when you get one! I still sometimes almost wish I got a 5.0 instead lol

yelosub -it's going to be a slow one (as the title states haha) I've learned my lesson with some of the mods I did to my tC that ended up being more of a waste of money so I have been putting a lot more thought into this car as far as mods go..aside from the little things I put under the hood..as far as performance improvement goes I am definitely doing it right and doing a lot more homework this time!

The Subaru is a far better platform to start from than the tC was in my honest opinion...Slow and steady my friend

Breathing some life back into my thread!

Just ordered my Cobb Catback exhaust. Got a great deal on a new one and couldn't pass it up. Was going to wait a bit longer for another site to get it in stock but I don't pass up deals on ish I want

Anyway will take pics as soon as it arrives and hopefully I can get it instaleld ASAP. So stoked. This is the exhaust I wanted back when I was drooling over 05-07 STI's and WRX's haha.

Also decided to donate to breast cancer for the Scoobies for Boobies thing going on. Got a couple of pink NASIOC decals to show my support. Gonna rock those as soon as they arrive as well.

This weekend is also Subiefest. My first big car show as well. Going to take pics with my awesome Droid camera lol. And what's even better than a Subaru car show? A beer festival that starts in the same place right after! Oktoberfest just happens to be going on that weekend on the same fair grounds 1 hour after subiefest is over. Cars and beer all Saturday long!

Bought some exhaust hangers from paranoid fabrications. Figured why not since they are cheap and I'm going to have my exhaust off the car anyway pretty soon.

If anyone is interested in my awesome droid camera skills you can check the album I made on photobucket here

You know it sounds good when even the g/f says it sounds sexy as hell haha, I love it. I am not sure if it's because of how well the cabin is insulated or not but the exhaust is super quiet and virtually no drone.

Loving that boxer rumble makes me want to get a downpipe and an access port and go stage 2..still debating on that..probably have to wait and see how big a check santa cuts me this year haha

btw pinoy - I wish I was in CO right now! My uncle lives in highlands ranch and showed me a pic of all the snow you guys got a few days ago..would love to go out to an open field and have some fun haha.

Do you ever go to the Golden Cruise? He has a red 67 chevy pick up he brings to that event every now and then.

Can't get any better than that justifications for your mods.

Yeah, I know what you mean. If Santa doesn't cut a huge check, you could still do accesport and stage 1? I rode in an '08 STI hatch with stage 1 and was awesome!

I hate winter and the snow, but it would be super fun to have an AWD car in it. That's the only part I like about winter lol, even the tC on snow tires is pretty fun. When I get my WRX I'll be loving driving in the snow

I've heard of it, many people go to it or have gone. I plan to eventually, probably during the summer when school isn't so hectic. I'll keep an eye out for it when I go!

Yeah I really put a lot of thoughts into mods for this car..even the exhaust was something I debated for months until I finally pulled the trigger..still debating on the accessport too..I kind of want wheels just because 17's look way to small in this huge ___ fenders..I already have the wheels and stuff picked out so it's just a matter of if/when and the money of course.

btw I have some bluebats overlays coming in for my tails so I can red out everything but the reverse lights..saw another WRB hatch at subiefest and fell in love with it haha. Should be here in the next few days!
