Benz SUCKS!
Why I'd never buy an Mercedes Benz. . . besides their quality marks on par with HYUNDAI (good for you, Hyundai).

Good catch on my misuse of words. . . but man, even their quality is a bit lacking. . . I've had a few first hand experiences.
We we're finishing up the paper work on a CL500, and we did a visual inspection of the car. Yup yup. . . you know those chrome trim pieces on the exterior? One was slightly crooked. . . well, after gently fiddling with it, it fell off. Needless to say we didn't buy it. This was at RAB? I think they're called that, but RAB MB of Marin. The older MB's were tanks, invincible and of the best build quality. Now? Hahahah. I'd rather buy two Hyundai's. IMO, the ONLY draws for MB now are the AMG division and the prestige. . . which can be worth the money, if you so desire it. But hey, I traded in a Lexus for a Scion. I don't care about prestige.
Come to think of it, even the square tankmobile S classes of the early-mid 90's were pretty darn solid.

For one thing the link doesn't work as it brings my to the home page. And as for Hyundai, quite thinking as though it is 1999.
You also have to consider that Mercedes Benz, aside from their SUVs, are one of the few manufactuerers that still import most of their models. And considering that Germany is currently in a financial slump so I am not too surprised.

I dunno then. . . we've had switches for our rear fog on our bimmers and volvos. They vary in operation, but some are switchable between fronts fogs only or both front and rear. Usually people slide the toggle all the way, and turn on all fogs uneccesarily.
But yeah, there are a few models that turn on with the front fogs. . . but hey, if you have fogs in the rear, you should know better.

i had an '89 e300-24 and boy it was rock solid for 12 years until the day i gave it to my brother-in-law. he is still tooled it around michigan. i think it has over 250k miles now on the original engine. no smoke and no hesitation. the seats are still looking good (mb tex is great!), doors still close with a thud. rock solid at highway speed. the only problem i had was the antenna kept getting stuck in the up position. there was two oil leaks but were fixed.
negative is the radio made by mexico grand prix.
as far as someone mentioned the rear fog always on. it is because the way **** works. one pull click for the front fog and all the way out for both front and rear fogs. most people just pulled the **** until it can't be pulled thinking that it is just for the front fog.
they just don't build them like they use to. now the beancounters are in charge instead of the engineers.
their old motto was "built like no other cars in the world."
