bummer.... the different color front fairing would have immediately turned me away. So there is a crack in the front fairing that doesnt even come close to matching the regular color of the bike, and he says it was a clean title?

Thats terrible, I'd try to take the guy to small claims court first and foremost, it's pretty easy, I just took the DJ from my wedding to small claims and won. If small claims doesn't work, I'd meet with an attorney, consultations are usually free, and see what he/she says.

My old neighbor had the same bike stolen right out of our parking lot a couple years ago. There's a lot of sketchy people out there. Good luck.
