The new Si seems pretty nice (based on the specs). Lookwise, however, I think the tC is a little bit nicer. And you really can't forget the torque. It's nice not having to downshift all the time to pass people. My friend who drives a 4cyl accord always has to downshift to get ANY passing power on the highway, whereas unless I really need to accelerate hard, I can usually just leave it in 5th and go.

and good luck waitin another year and a half to 2 years for aftermarket parts for that civy. we got most of our tc parts now. since i still have my 240,000 mile civy, i can say that old school hondas r the way to go, and they r waayyy lighter.

I'd rather have a car that there isn't one like it anywhere in the world than have a mini-me accord cause that's exactly what it looks like IMO.

Won't turn heads with that si. You get lot's of good looks with the tC. And lot's of scowls from the Honda owner's.

I saw a new 4-door Civic the other day and the **** was really ugly! It looks cool from the front, but the back looks terrible! I still think the tC looks much better. Anyways, good luck with the ride!

Since this seems to be a Civic discussion... and not really a tC thing...

Yeah, I'd rather have that kind of Honda too. Actually, if I lived someplace that didn't have snowy winters, I'd consider just getting rid of the car altogether and getting an extra motorcycle or two.

By the way, if the bike you're talking about is a CBR600RR, you might want to look into the new Triumph Daytona 675 triple. According to "Bike" magazine in the UK (the only journalists who've had a chance to test it), it absolutely smokes the CBR and the ZX-6R. I must have one.

Congrats. I love the funky civic dash. Just keep your fingers crossed that the civic doesnt rattle in every place possible like the tC does. Smart choice! I hope to be starting one of these threads soon too, but not with the civic.

Just dont come crying back here when your civic gets STOLEN!!!!!!!! And have fun paying astronomical insurance rates. I'll stick with the tC anyday of the week.

'06 Si + driver = dumb driver You should stay with the tC. Havent you learned anything about individuality and the Scion way? Perhaps you are a lost cause. Have fun in Honda land. At least the back of the tC is sexy cause thats all you'll see of them in your Si...
