we really dont know wtf happened to be honest, its all just speculation. the only person who would have gotten a good view didnt stop afterwards. we honestly don't know if it was the tire or not, it could have just been a hump in the road that lifted the car off the ground just enough to lose traction somewhere along with the control, I don't know. what we DO know is that there was alot of forces at work that mangled the frame and destroyed what used to be the body kit, cracked the tranny wide open, and made me think I was gonna see the Reaper again.

YAY!! Finally an update. We hit that small money gap I was talking about earlier. Where we (Travers) doesn't have the money to buy the misc. parts we need to fix the car.

Update News:
Alright, basically what we did last night was just take the B16 out of the dead CRX and put it on an engine lift. Not much, but at least it got done. And we're going to have to see what we can do to the D16a engine before Travers' sells it to one of our friends.

Hookin' it up!

Now we're removing the engine mounts.

Yeah, this is the bottom of his transmission. He put a pretty good size hole in it.

Pullin' 'er out...

Another Tranny pic, the next one is better...

Awesome project. I'm gonna keep track of this. I have an '89 HF myself that I might start building up soon.

Are you guys going to paint the car? I would have thought that maybe you would when you had it stripped.

Anyway, good work.

Yeah we're going to paint it sometime soon...The B16a Engine is Ready to get dropped in this week. Someone already bought the engine that came with the "New" one...So...I'll get some pics up when the drop in happens this week :D...He still has to paint it, but that won't come for a while, he doesn't have a ton of money atm.

He felt it pulling to the left and didnt try to correct it? Thats the equivalent of saying you saw the tractor trailer starting to come over into your lane, but you just kept it on the accelerator.

On another note, it looks as if its coming along nicely.
