Default Engine sizes...

I am still a bit of a newby with engines etc... Just as a warning! I know you can do an engine swap but besides picking it up and trying to put it in... It there is a way to know how big an engine is, or a way to know if it will fit in a car... What would one need to look for to find this... thanks! I am specifically interested in knowing if cross brands could swap engines, honda toyota, ford honda... etc thanks!

go look online for how big an engine is. Its usually on a manufacture's website, or car selling sites, they'll list the specs of the list. As far as cross-manufacture engine swaps, its been done, chevy V8 in a miata or rx-7. I havent heard bout much else. Engine swaps really involve alot of fabrication, esepcially of diff sizes and types. But if u have the money and time..wat the hell.
