I like the Excursion, especially the size, BUT my heart belongs to GM, so I'd rock a Suburban LTZ!... [/u][/b]

What on earth is there to like? Do you think there's a single person on the planet who drives one of these that actually needs it?

This was literally the answer to the question "Just how big CAN we make a four-door car?" How could anybody like it, except for perverse, society-destroying, questionable reasons?

x2 on the Suburban. It's a much better looking truck. However, I could never drive something that big.

I love this from the Wiki

The Excursion included a unique feature called the "BlockerBeam", which was an under-bumper rollbar-like device that helped stop smaller vehicles from sliding under an Excursion during collisions. The BlockerBeam concept is now widely used in the industry.
If you need a cow-catcher for Miata's, your car is too friggin big.

My uncle has a suburban. He's owned one for the last 20 years or so, starting with the 73-91 body style. Then again, he has a farm in Wisconsin, so it's actually being used properly.

No doubt!
This beast wouldn't be a daily driver but just a grocery getter, move the family on the weekends and a roadtripping vehicle. Gas is just currently TOO HIGH to drive everyday...

Oh I don't really care about the gas mileage, if I had something that bad on gas, I would get a bike that gets 50+ MPG to counter it. I'm just saying that I wouldn't be able to stand driving something that massive. I just prefer driving small, low cars. I'd rather have my ___ 3" from the ground and something easy to park, than be 4' above the ground and have to take up 15 parking spaces.

I won't buy american anytime soon. To many recent horror stories. I would buy a Ford first though if i had to buy american. Bad stories coming from GM like this one and recalling the Camaro already because of faulty wiring jobs:
